1932 Ford converted to Electric Vehicle

The Project
I was working on a 1932 Ford Tudor here in Sweden forty years ago, boxing the frame and chopping the roof a bit. The rear axle was a Jaguar S-Type. The project was later sold on.

Now I have been a member at the TMC Forums for 6 years so electric drivetrains is the natural choice for a hobby car.

The availability of '32 Ford reproduction parts locally from JOCAR Hot Rods & Steelworks is really good. Complete EV kits and expertise is available from EV Europe. Together this should make it possible build a 1932 Ford EV from scratch!

Right now I'm working on the 5W Coupé body.
The Youtube channel Elbilsmagasinet visits Sir-M and the Ford 32 Chassie.
The Chassie is now with Sir-M for wiring of battery, motor and systems and test runs of all components.
The Frame
This is a work in progress, the frame will evolve when rear axle and drive train is mapped to the CAD. The 6 CATL battery modules are shown below. The battery will be completely below the floor in the body and about 30 millimeter above the bottom of the frame rails. In the front there's a stack of two modules where the original engine was. The underside of the frame is flat and coverd with sheet aluminium.
